Well, it's gonna be quiet from me for awhile. My dad and I had it out last night and then he started in on my mom and they're finally getting a divorce. I'm staying at Janet's tonight and my mom's staying by Lisa... I'll be around at work and stuff, but I just wanted to say that...

Well, I have to do something I never thought I'd have to do and go Friends Only.
I've had my suspicions and haven't posted a lot lately for that reason.

Ok, everyone play "iF YoU C Jordan' by Something Corporate for me and BLARE the "FUCK YOU JORDAN" part for me. I'm cool with it though, he was a little too "frat boy"ish anyways.
But, I never fail to have a constant supply of man whores... enter Nate.
I met Nate on Saturday night, there was something there and it just progressed as the night went on... whatever, conversation, blahblahblah, we end up making out for the rest of the night in between playing pool and darts (where I kicked his ass and made him nervous and he couldn't hit anything.) He got my number, said he'd call tomorrow (which was yesterday)... that was Saturday, he hasn't called yet, but I'm not concerned about that. Anyways, basics: 22, singer in a band, his favorite band is 311 and he's a sweetheart. We'll see, right? If he doesn't call, he doesn't call... I hope he does though, christ he was an excellent kisser.

Ok, let me explain more about the concert/getting William's autograph.
I'll run down the bands.
Further Seems Forever: Wow, fantabulous. Got the crowd nice and warmed up. Since they had all played last night as well at the HoB, they congratulated us on being a much better crowd (from the sounds of it, last nights sucked.) They were really good though. Opened with Pictures of Shorelines, yay!
Something Corporate: Hi, wow. AMAZING. They had the crowd COMPLETELY rocking out. Andrew jumped on his piano and it was great, the crowd went wild. Opened with Fall, played Cavanaugh Park, and ended with If You C Jordan. Yowza. I loved that they opened with Fall. Andrew also said they'd be back in a few months, so yay to that!
Finch: FANfuckingTASTIC!!!! GOD THEY WERE GOOD. I was in the pit for this one and DAMN was it good. I can't say enough good things about it. Didn't play Without You Here, but that's ok they played everything else I like.
New Found Glory: Hehehe, fun as always. Covered Glory of Love, dedicated Sonny to all the victims of all things terrorist related. They were really good, lots of interaction with the crowd. Comin' back in December, score! Played Forget My Name (yay!!), Something I Call Personality (yay again!!), Understatement (yaaaaay!), and Story So Far (yippeeeee!) all my faves. They ended with My Friends Over You and that kicked hardcore.
So, how did I get William's autograph you ask? I'm walking out of the Riv and I see this woman getting her ticket signed... I look closer and I froze and made a noise that is best compared to as a squeak of some sort. I walked up, held out my shirt and went "Please?" and he looked at me like "how much crack are you on?" but just said "sure no problem" and signed. I thanked him and spazzed when I got outside. I mean, he was just standing there, how could I resist? He's a beautiful piece of man, btw. The shirt rocks too. It's one I haven't seen for them before. It's like the Rolling Rock symbol but it says 'Piano Rock' instead. I've seen the Hopeless Records ones like that, and I had to have it and that's what he signed. *drool*

Haven't felt much like updating/haven't had anything uber-thrilling to update about. I hate people at work today... well, not hate, but some of the residents (ok, only one really) is getting on my nerves. She's called down about 5 times since 4:45 about trivial things, that I don't even handle but she feels the need to tell me about how bad things are with them. Irritated with school, dropping one class because it's pissing me off and is too time-consuming right now. Might move in with my sister, dunno. Whatever.
Costume/toga (knowing the people whp's throwing the party, they just threw toga in there so they can wear sheets with nothing on under them) party this Saturday, will be funny, as this is my "costume" (and yes, the strikeout is right for the shirt): this hysterical headband with a cowboy hat on it and 2 blonde pigtails with red bandanas tied at the the ends *got it at Target, yes it's for kids technically, but I couldn't resist*, a wifebeater with "Ride 'Em Me Cowboy" written on it and some ugly flannel shirt cuz it's gonna be frickin' freezing *but also cuz it's hillbilly.*
Ok, not the greatest, but it's gonna be a good time. Keith, Lisa, and Lunchbox are throwin' it, so y'know there'll be plenty of liquor (hi, 15 cases of beer last party.) Drunken fun for everyone.

Just for Kylie, an update!
Ok, so I had a date tonight.
Went very well, sooooooooooo sweet... he ordered for me and paid for me and he's calling me sometime this week to go out again. His name's Jordan, about 6'1, glasses... just adorable. So, we'll see how that goes.
I refuse to get excited about it though, just in case.

No, I did not die--I'm still alive and well and on a complete concert high :-)
OK, my Incubus 2 day extravaganza is over. Madison, WI... the best show. Amazing. I was on the floor about 20 feet from the band. I could see them sweating. There aren't words for me to describe how amazing this was for me. I was always like "as long as I'm there, I don't care where I'm sitting, it's the environment." Not anymore... it's floor all the way for me. Sure I almost died being squished between people, sure I got kicked 3 times in the head by retarded bodysurfers, sure I fell twice when the crowd just got out of hand and a huge group of us just got knocked over... BUT IT WAS ALL IN THE NAME OF INCUBUS.
I got a camera in, will get the pictures developed tomorrow, hopefully they'll be decent and I'll scan them and post 'em up in here. It was so great at the end of I Miss You when Brandon went "that was special." At one point he told everyone to "blow kisses and smoke joints", something along those lines. Are You In? got a huge reaction from the crowd, everyone was grooving (literally, that's the best word to describe it) to that.
The crowd was great, everyone was just rockin' out hard in the little space we had and people helped other people up and... they were just great :-) At the end of Aqueous Transmission when Brandon left the stage he gave the most adorable smile and bowed. Everyone screamed their asses off as each person walked off stage. When the spotlight went on Kilmore he put his hand up and everyone just clapped. Mike always gets a good reaction, he's amazing when he plays. One of my favorite memories from last night is when I heard the opening to Drive, and I looked over and they had these amazing orange-ish beams of light around Mike and everyone went nuts. Alex (or Dirk if you prefer to call him) was the man, as usual... rockin' that bass hard. Jose walked off the stage to a huge applause as well... I really can say that so far, last night was the best night of my life, hands down. Everytime they get better and better and when it was ending this time I got all teary eyed like a dork because I knew it was the last time I'd be seeing them for awhile. It's amazing how things like that can touch someone.
I apologize for raving like a dork, but I can't help it. They're the best.
